Introducing Derek

I’m Derek, an artist and creative based in Seattle with a long history in the hospitality industry. My work is shaped by years spent observing how people interact with space, light, and each other. With a strong foundation in service and design, I approach every project with a focus on intention, detail, and emotion.

As co-founder of Atomic Flora, I design botanical installations that respond to their environment. Each piece is a study in balance and draws from the natural world while embracing structure, story, and transformation. My goal is to create work that resonates quietly but deeply, adding presence and warmth to the spaces people gather in.
